A navy officer sent this letter to 13 people and he was promoted!
A business man received this letter and threw it away ..not believing in it.. and he lost everything he had within 13 days..
It reached a labourer and he distributed it to 13 people.. he was promoted and all his problems were solved within 13 days..
So you must send this e mail to 13 people for something good to happen to you so people.. get sending !! :) don't be lazy..
P/S : Do not send back to the person who send this to you!!!
Needless to say it is a hoax and suffers from some rather poor photo editing but let's face it, a great story. It's reminiscent of the various
Ring movies where, after watching a video tape, the viewer has only a limited time to live or in this case before something bad happens. In both cases if you do something, either solving the mystery of the ring in the case of the movies or forwarding on the letter here, you can avoid misfortune.
What takes this hoax a step above the average urban legend type hoax is both its longevity and the amount of disturbance it has caused. Reported in an
Ananova story last year an Indian newspaper was duped into reporting both the photo and the story which apparently caused quite a stir when it was picked up by other news agencies. Residents of the covered areas took the story seriously and made their children stay out of the region where this incident supposedly took place and even went so far as to keep their children out of school.
Interestingly, this isn't the first time this particular ghost has made rounds in a hoax photo chain letter. The photo to the right circulated prior to the above with a story about a British photographer who took the photo in an old Malaysian cemetery some time after World War II. The story goes on to say that the photographer saw nothing unusual while actually taking the photo but upon developing the film he saw the ghostly figure. After viewing the developed photo he began to have horrible nightmares in which the woman from the photo would visit him. He discovered she was raped and murdered by Japanese soldiers during the war and will not rest until she finds her murderers. Of course, the reader, having now seen the photo will become the victim of these terrible nightmares too unless they send the photo to 50 people.
Our guess is we haven't seen the last of this ghostly apparition. We can only imagine what deathly fun she will be up to next time.
